Elisha Rai is the co-founder of @drink.folc. folc is a locally produced craft wine made from high quality grapes grown in Kent. By working locally, folc cut out carbon-intensive international supply chains, plus their lightweight bottle is made using up to 30% less energy than traditional wine bottles. ⁣

To give you a bit of background about Elisha, she co-founded folc in 2020 with her partner Tom, with the ambition to create a high quality English rosé with a modern mindset. She knew that their customers wanted transparency, sustainability and inclusiveness at the heart of the wine they are buying and that's exactly how folc produces their English wine. They’re transparent in their wine production process and try to give their customers as much information as possible (in an accessible way) so that they feel confident in their wine choice. Their winery is accredited with the @WineGBsustainability scheme and they only use plant-based corks and recycled paper on their bottles. folc is on a mission to demystify wine and create a wine brand that brings people in rather than pushing them out. ⁣
